In the Village of East Hampton, the houses have small gardens. This house had a two car garage independent structure but located in an oblique angle from the house and its driveway splitting the garden in a way that no longer makes any sense. 
 
Corrective solution requires redesign of the garden to stitch the garden to the house and future pool house.  In redesigning the garden, new areas for sunbathing, lounging and outdoor kitchen and herb garden was developed
 
On the interior, decoration pivoted around personalizing the house with modern and midcentury furniture mixed with artisanal furniture & accents keeping in mind the beach house in the village vibe.
