The garden design was inspired by childhood memories of old olive and fruit trees in Tehran, Iran. To create the feel of an open field of fruit trees, the pool was designed to blend in as an accent rather than a centerpiece.

The pool’s edges were framed with 75-year-old olive trees sourced from a Northern California nursery. The backyard was opened up, featuring 12 different fruit trees carefully positioned based on their light and sun requirement.  The mulberry trees began blossoming even before the installation was complete.
